Overview: Investment contracts
## What investment contracts can I use?
We have industry-standard contracts you can use for SAFEs (YC) and Convertible Notes (Cooley GO). You can also use your own custom equity investment contract (e.g. Priced Round, etc.).
For SAFEs, we use the standard contracts from the YC website. You can choose between various options (valuation cap vs. uncapped, discount vs. no discount, etc.). You'll also be able to add MFN clauses, pro rata rights, and/or a side letter, if you would like to.
## Changing contract typs
You can always change terms when inviting investors to invest **directly** on your cap table.
SPVs are only allowed to have one set of terms. If you already have investors in the SPV and want to change the terms, reach out to us at launch@wefunder.com. If your new terms are worse for investors, your existing SPV investors will need to reconfirm their investment.
