Updating account info
## Updating Your Phone Number or Email Address
To update your phone number or email address, you'll need to verify your identity for security purposes.
## Change Your Phone Number or Email
1. Verify your identity by providing:
- Your current phone number on file
- Your residential address on file
2. Provide your new phone number and/or email address
3. We'll verify and update it
Your new info will be saved once verified.
## Reset Your Password
You can reset your password anytime:
1. Go to https://wefunder.com/login
2. Click "Forgot your password?"
3. Check your email for the reset link
4. If you don't receive it, check your spam or junk folder
If you encounter any errors or need assistance, contact us.
## Can't Log In?
Start with **"Forgot password"** at wefunder.com/login, using the email on your original account.
If that email is no longer accessible, reply to us with:
- Your full name
- The residential address on the account
- The original email on the account
- The new email you'd like to use
We'll verify your identity and update it manually.
**Passkey or 2FA blocking login?** Reply with your full name and residential address so we can verify your identity, and we can remove the passkey or 2FA associated with your account so you can log in as normal.
**Think you have a duplicate account?** If you created a second account with a different email, let us know both email addresses. If your older account has investments in it we can't delete it, but we can merge both accounts so all your investment history appears under one login.
