What is Investor Warmup?

## Investor Warmup overview The best way to raise capital is to establish a relationship with potential investors before you ask them to invest. Investor Warmup lets you build a following before you ask anyone for a dollar. You share your pitch on Wefunder, post updates about what you're building, and start getting people interested. They'll get emails when you post something new. And when you're ready to launch your round, they won't be strangers; they'll already know you and your story. It's especially useful if you're early stage, don't have a huge network yet, or just aren't quite ready to raise. ## Who is a good fit for Investor Warmup? Investor Warmup is the best fit for companies not yet ready to fundraise. For example, you don't yet have a number of people interested in investing. And/or you don't have a large audience of customers or community members. Warmup tends to be the best fit for early stage startups (e.g. Pre Seed). ## Benefits Fundraising is scary. You're putting yourself out there.
