How do I transfer my Wefunder investment to someone else / change the account holder?

You can transfer a Wefunder investment or change who holds it through an online transfer form on wefunder.com. Tell us which type of transfer you need and we'll share the transfer link directly in our reply. Each link works once, only for the account it was made for, and expires 30 days after it's sent. There are four types of transfers: **Entity Transfer:** Moving an investment from your personal name into an LLC, trust, IRA or other entity you own or control. The entity must already be added to your Wefunder account (Personal settings → Account information → Investing Entities → Add entity). **Secondary Transfer:** Selling or gifting your investment to another person. You'll need their full name and the email on their Wefunder account. **Company Repurchase:** The company buying investments back from its investors. The founder requests this link. **Beneficiary Transfer:** The original investor has passed away and you're their heir or estate representative. All transfers, and any payment, go through Wefunder.
