How do I transfer my Wefunder investment to someone else / change the account holder?
You can transfer a Wefunder investment or change the account holder through an online transfer form on wefunder.com. Wefunder will send a transfer link to your Wefunder account email once you've indicated the type of transfer you need.
There are four types of transfers:
**Entity Transfer:**
Moving an investment into an LLC, trust, or other entity you own.
**Secondary Transfer:**
Selling or gifting your investment to another individual.
**Company Repurchase:**
A founder buying back shares from investors in their own company.
**Beneficiary Transfer:**
The original investor has passed away.
