How do I transfer my Wefunder investment to someone else / change the account holder?

To transfer a Wefunder investment to another person: Living transfer (gift or sale between individuals): Email support@wefunder.com with the buyer/recipient’s name, the email address associated with their Wefunder account, and details on what investment you’re looking to gift/sell. We'll send a link back to you, which will prompt you to fill out more information about the transaction and sign an investment transfer contract. Once this is completed, the recipient will receive an email with a link that will prompt them to confirm the transfer details and sign the investment transfer contract as well. Once both parties have signed, the contract will be sent back to Wefunder for one final signature, and then all 3 parties will receive a digital copy of the investment transfer documents to their emails. Once you receive this, you must email our support email back and let us know, so that we may facilitate the payment for this transfer (if applicable) and transfer it within our digital record to finalize it. Estate / post-death transfer: Email support@wefunder.com with the deceased and beneficiary’s names, account emails, and a copy of the death certificate. Once that's on file, we'll send a link back to you, which will prompt you to fill out more information about the transaction and sign an investment transfer contract. Once this is completed, the recipient will receive an email with a link that will prompt them to confirm the transfer details and sign the investment transfer contract as well. Once both parties have signed, the contract will be sent back to Wefunder for one final signature, and then all 3 parties will receive a digital copy of the investment transfer documents to their emails. Once you receive this, you must email our support email back and let us know, so that we may transfer the investment within our digital record to finalize it.
