Regaining account access

## I removed myself as an admin. How do I get back in? If there's another admin on the campaign, ask them to re-invite you. That's the fastest path. If you were the only admin and you removed yourself, email **launch@wefunder.com** from the email address on the original account. Include the company name and a short explanation. We can restore access manually after confirming you're the original founder. ## Someone else removed me. What do I do? If a co-founder or teammate removed your access and you believe that was a mistake (or unauthorized), email **launch@wefunder.com** immediately. Include: - The company name and URL slug - Your email address on the account - The name/email of the person who removed you, if known - Anything that establishes you're the original founder (a screenshot of an old admin view, a Form C with your name, an investor update you authored, etc.) We treat these as sensitive. We won't restore access without verifying identity, and we won't take sides in a co-founder dispute - but we'll make sure no one is permanently shut out without due process. ## I can't log in at all. My password isn't working. Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. The reset email goes to the address on file. If the email never arrives, check spam first, then confirm you're trying the right email - founders often have multiple addresses and forget which one was used at signup. If you've genuinely lost access to that email inbox (closed account, defunct employer email, etc.), see "I lost access to the email on file" below. ## I lost access to the email on file. How do I recover my account? Email **support@wefunder.com** from any email address with: - The company name - The old email address on the account (best guess if you don't know) - Your full name - Verification that you're the same person - this could be a government ID, the EIN of the company, or anything that links you to the original signup We'll verify and then either reset the email on the account or grant access through a new login. This is manual and can take 1-2 business days. If your raise is live and the access issue is blocking a time-sensitive action (withdrawal, Form C signing, closing), say so in the subject line and we'll prioritize. ## My account is banned or I'm getting weird "you can't do that" errors. That's not a normal lockout — it usually means there's a compliance flag on the account. Email **support@wefunder.com** with your account email and we'll look at it.
