## Who Can Invest on Wefunder?

Not sure if you're eligible to invest on Wefunder? Here's everything you need to know about who can participate.

### Basic Requirements

You need to be at least **18 years old** to invest on Wefunder. That's the main requirement that applies to everyone.

Beyond that, your eligibility depends on a few other factors: where you live, whether you're an accredited investor, and your investment history.

### Where You Can Invest From

Wefunder welcomes investors from around the world. If you're outside the U.S., you usually can still invest. Just make sure you follow the laws of your country.

**There are a few exceptions:**
- **Canadian residents are not eligible** to invest on Wefunder
- **Certain sanctioned countries** also cannot participate: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and regions of Ukraine

If you're from an EU country, you're welcome to invest as long as you comply with your local regulations.

### Investment Limits

Your investment amount may be limited based on:
- Your annual income
- Your net worth
- Any prior investments you've made in Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) offerings

Want to know your specific limit? Check your Investor Limits settings on Wefunder. We'll show you exactly how much you can invest.

### Accredited Investors

Some opportunities are only available to accredited investors (those who meet higher financial criteria). If you qualify as accredited, you'll have access to more investment options on the platform.

### Issuer-Specific Requirements

Some companies on Wefunder may have their own eligibility requirements for their specific Community Round. Always check the individual opportunity page to see if there are any additional requirements.
