My Wefunder Cash withdrawal failed / my bank shows an error
If your Wefunder cash withdrawal failed or your refund hasn't reached your bank:
Scenario A — withdrawal returned with an error (invalid/incorrect account):
Go to wefunder.com/settings/banks_and_cards, remove the current bank account, re-link your bank (or add a different account), then submit a new withdrawal at wefunder.com/cash. The error typically means the account number on file doesn't match what your bank has on record. If it fails again after re-linking, reply here with the last 4 digits of the account you're using and we'll investigate.
Scenario B — funds are sitting in your Wefunder Cash balance (not yet sent to your bank):
This happens when a refund or cancelled investment credits back to your Wefunder Cash rather than going directly to your bank. Navigate to wefunder.com/cash and click 'Withdraw.' Select your linked bank account and confirm the amount. Processing takes 3–8 business days once submitted.
