## How to get started
Start a Private Round at wefunder.com/raise. Enter your company's legal name, your investment terms, fundraise goals, any info you would like to share with investors (e.g. pitch deck), and whether you would like to raise capital from Wefunder's accredited investors, vs. limiting it to investors you invite. Push the button to go live and start accepting investments. Literally takes a few minutes. You can close on funds as soon as you pass $50K.
## When is the right time to run a Private Round?
You should launch a raise on Wefunder only when you are confident that you have investors willing and ready to invest. If you are not yet confident of that, we recommend starting with Warmup, growing your company's followers on Wefunder, and launching a fundraise when you are ready.
## Can I run a Community Round AND a Private Round on Wefunder?
Not in parallel, but you can do one and then the other. If you do want to do both, we recommend starting with a Private Round to close on capital quickly. And then spinning up a Community Round later.
