## How much does it cost to raise on Wefunder?
Private Rounds are free for founders. Direct investors also pay no fees. SPV investors pay $10k.
For investors you invite, there are no investor or founder fees. For investors we introduce from Wefunder’s investor base, we charge those investors 5% management fees (0.5% for 10 years), and 10% carried interest.
## Can my startup pay the expenses instead?
Yes, you may opt to pay the expenses instead.
## How do I make sure investors I bring in don't see platform fees?
The management fees and carried interest are only waived for investors who arrive through your direct invite link — that link is how Wefunder recognizes you as the source. To set one up, go to your Deal Page and click the **Invite** button in the upper-left corner, then go to **Reusable Links**. From there you can copy an existing link or create a new one. Anyone who invests through that link will have 0% carry and 0% management fees.
