Editing an investment
# How to Edit Your Pending Investment on Wefunder
Changed your mind about your investment amount? Whether you want to invest more or scale back, you can adjust your pending investment anytime before funds are sent to the company. Once the money reaches them, the investment is locked in—but until then, you have full flexibility to modify it.
## Here's how to edit your investment:
1. Head to your **Portfolio page** at wefunder.com/portfolio
2. Find the investment you want to modify in the 'pending' section
3. Click the **'edit investment'** link at the top right corner of that investment
4. Choose whether you're editing your existing investment or adding a new one under a different entity
5. Enter your new total investment amount. If you've already paid and are increasing your amount, you'll only be charged for the difference
6. Select your preferred payment method
7. Re-confirm the legal terms
8. Click **'edit investment'** at the bottom to lock in your changes
