Why doesn't my company show up when I search for it on Wefunder?

## Why your company might not appear in search When someone searches for a company by name on Wefunder, it appears only if **both** of these are true: 1. **Your profile is published**, and 2. **Your privacy setting is "Public."** If your privacy is set to **Unlisted** or **Invite-Only**, your page is still reachable by its direct link and people can still invest — but it is **intentionally hidden from Wefunder's search and marketplace**. This is the most common reason a live "Reservations Live / Anyone can invest" campaign can't be found by name. ## How to fix it Go to **wefunder.com/[your-company]/settings/privacy** and choose **Public**, then make sure your profile is published. (Once you file your Form C, "Public" is set automatically and can no longer be changed.) A couple of things to keep in mind: - It can take a little while for search to refresh after you change this setting. - Very new campaigns may not appear in search until they've received a couple of reservations or investments. ## Search vs. Explore — two different things Being **found by name in search** (above) is different from appearing on the **Explore** page. Explore is a higher bar: you need to reach **$50,000** raised on Wefunder and pass a compliance review. So it's completely normal to be findable by name but not yet on Explore. For the Explore criteria, see the article "Why your round isn't on the Explore page."
