How to run your warmup

## Tell your story. Give people a behind-the-scenes look at what you're building and the progress you're making. Introduce your team. Celebrate a win. Ask for feedback. People invest in founders, not just ideas; so let them get to know you. Aim to post about once a month. You can go more often if you've got genuinely interesting stuff to share, but don't force it. Nobody likes filler updates. ## How long should Warmup last? There's no magic number. Could be a month if you already have a strong network. Could be six months if you're starting from scratch. The right time to launch your round is when you've got real interest; people reaching out, soft commitments, that kind of energy. You want to come out of the gate strong. ## What happens after Warmup? When you transition from Warmup to an active fundraise, you'll choose how to structure your round. You can run a Private Round (for accredited investors only), a Community Round (open to everyone), or do a Private Round first and then open it up. We can help you figure out the right approach; just email us at launch@wefunder.com.
