There are three main statuses, and understanding them helps you know who's actually funding your round and who might need a little nudge. ### **Ready** **Ready** means the investor has confirmed their investment AND their payment has cleared. You can count on this money. These are your locked-in funds. If you've got a bunch of investors in the "Ready" group, you're in good shape. ### **Pending** **Pending** means the money is on its way but hasn't fully cleared yet, OR the investor has confirmed their investment but there's something they still need to do to complete the process. Pending investors might have action items they need to finish.
