Redemptions, buybacks & revenue-share payouts

Sometimes money comes back to you from an investment — through a redemption or buyback, or through revenue-share (revenue loan) repayments. Here's how those work. ## The types of payouts A redemption or buyback (repurchase) is when the company or SPV repurchases your investment, usually at an agreed price; once processed, the proceeds are returned to you. A revenue share or revenue loan is when the company repays investors out of revenue over time, so you may receive periodic payments rather than a single lump sum. ## How the money reaches you Payouts flow through Wefunder to the bank account or payment method linked to your account. Timing depends on the company or fund and when they send funds — some are one-time, others recurring. ## Where to check status Open wefunder.com/portfolio to see an investment's status and any distributions. ## Deposit you don't recognize, or waiting on one? Email updates@wefunder.com with the company name and we'll help track it down.
