Using multiple accounts
You might have investments across multiple Wefunder accounts and want to consolidate them. Here's how that works.
## If You Want to Move an Investment to a Different Account
To switch an investment to another account, let us know:
- The company you invested in
- How much you invested
- Why you have multiple accounts
- Whether you need to keep these investments separate
## If You Want to Merge Your Accounts Completely
If you have multiple accounts but don't need them to be separate, we can merge them into one. This makes managing your investments simpler.
Tell us which account should be your main one, and we'll take care of merging the rest. The Wefunder Success team might ask follow-up questions, but once it's done, we'll confirm everything is complete.
## The Key Difference
Switching investments between accounts is different from transferring ownership. Make sure we both understand what you're trying to do - either moving your investments to a different account of yours, or actually changing who owns the investment.
