What financial documents do I need to provide for my Form C filing?

For the Form C, you will need the previous two fiscal years of financial statements. If you have any predecessor entities, we’ll need financials for those entities too. The type of financial statements you need depends on how much you plan to raise on Wefunder: • Up to $124,000: self-compiled financials • Up to $1,235,000: CPA reviewed financials • Up to $5,000,000: CPA audited financials If you’ve raised under Reg CF before, there’s a bit more nuance. The thresholds listed above are 12 month aggregates - that means anything you’ve raised under Reg CF in the last 12 months will count towards those maximums. Additionally, if you’ve raised under Reg CF before, the maximum you can raise with CPA reviewed financials drops from $1,235,000 to $618,000. For most raises, we recommend starting with self-compiled statements as you can always upgrade later with a Form C amendment.  If you’re looking to get a CPA review or audit, we can connect you with a CPA firm that works with Wefunder often.
