Wefunder fees for private rounds

## Getting started It's **free to create a company profile** on Wefunder. ## Private raise fees on Wefunder For private rounds, fees are technically shared between investors and founders, with no upfront fee to start raising. Here's how it works once your raise is open to investments: - Wefunder takes 10% (capped at $10K) to setup the SPV. - Example: If you raise $100k solely from investors you invite, Wefunder will keep $10k as the SPV fee and send you $90k at the time of disbursement. - After you raise $50k, you become eligible for promotion to Wefunder's audience of accredited investors. **If someone introduced to your raise from the Wefunder audience invests**, we take a 5% fee out of their investment (.5% management fee over 10 years taken at the time of the investment), and then 10% carry on future returns. Corporations taxed as LLCs cost $5,000+/yr separately to handle tax filings and K-1s.
