Can I include projections in my pitch?

When building your pitch, explicitly state that any forward-looking numbers are projections. Never guarantee growth like: "We plan to make $5 million next year."

If you decide to fundraise on Wefunder, you are legally liable that every statement on your pitch is 100% true, and that you have not omitted any important information investors should know about (for example, a lawsuit). Read the Legal Primer for more information.
