How do contract transfers work in the case of death?

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Here is an overview of how that process will look:

--You'll need to provide us with a death certificate and signed/sealed court documents indicating that you (the beneficiary) are the rightful owner of these securities (i.ie. probate decree or similar), please email these documents to support@wefunder.com.

--Once we receive these documents, we will notify the founders on your behalf. Please note, we will also need you to make a Wefunder account for yourself if you haven't already to allow us to transfer the contracts. This can be done at www.wefunder.com/signup.

--You will receive an online electronic document from us to sign in the near future once the above is taken care of. This is the legal document that will allow us to finalize the transfer for you.

--After the document is completed, our team will finalize the process for you by merging the accounts. Please note, the original signatures will remain on the contracts, but rest assured, the signed transfer document makes it legal and complete.

We will continue to follow up as this process is completed with any action you need to take on your end, but for now we just need to receive the documents we listed above. If you encounter any trouble with this or have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are more than happy to assist you.

*Please note that if your investment is invested via Direct investment, Wefunder will provide you with the correct documentation, but you will need to complete the transfer whilst in contact with the company*
